Harsha Desai

Working for You

Harsha tells us why she is standing to be our County Councillor for Petworth - and why it is time for CHANGE at County Hall.

I have lived and worked in the area for 15 years. As the District Councillor for Petworth I have been pushing for improvements to our roads, road markings and signage - to address dangers to local pedestrians and properties.

WSCC also need to secure a more regular rural bus service and better prevent surface flooding. I have been appalled by the inefficiency and indifference to our rural villages of this Conservative-led County Council.

I’m keen to play my part with (what I hope to be) a much enlarged group of WSCC Lib Dems to unlock the potential for positive impact in our area: eg: proactive roads management, regular dredging of ditches, improved community transport, using county money and unused county buildings for local people.

It is time for change. The only way to shake-up the way County Hall is led is to vote for the Lib Dems here
