History is made in Chichester
JESS Brown-Fuller has been elected to be the Member of Parliament for the Chichester Constituency. The result of the election was as follows:
- JESS Brown-Fuller Liberal Democrats 25,540 votes (49.2%)
- Gillian Keegan (Conservative) 13,368 votes (25.7%)
- Teresa De Santis (Reform) 7,859 votes (15.1%)
- Tom Collinge (Labour) 3,175 votes (6.1%)
- Tim Young (Green) 1,815 votes (3.5%)
- Andrew Emerson (Ind) 190 (0.4%)
With almost half of the popular vote this is an amazing achievement by the volunteer team and of course every single one of those 25,540 voters. The result represents a 30.9% swing to the Liberal Democrats.
